Hewlett-Packard is offering several Records Management 8.x courses in Melbourne during the month of September and November. All training will be held at Kapish, Level 3, 22 William Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000.

The training courses mark the first time since October last year that public training in HP Records Manager will be available. This training is usually only available to organisations and will continue in 2016 if there is interest from people to attend.

Three training courses are planned for 2015 with the HP RM Administration Essentials being run on two occasions:

HPRM.110 – HP Records Manager Advanced User Training (1 day) – September 16

This 1-day ‘user level’ course addresses all the core functionality and features of HP Records Manager. This includes searching for, creating, and maintaining Records. Other components, such as Reports, Activities and Actions, Alerts, User Labels, Dropzone, Workflow Completion and User Options are also discussed. This course uses the “HP Records Manger” desktop client exclusively.

HPRM.200 – HP Records Manager Administration Essentials (2 days) – September 9/10 and November 11/12

This 2-day ‘Administrator Level’ course covers the setup and configuration of HP Records Manager for Enterprise use. It discusses Security, Locations, Retention, Classifications, and Record Types, as well as other administrative features such as simple Workflow creation and system options.
